So you've viewed my gallery & decided I am the artist for the job, well, thank you for choosing me. I greatly appreciate all commissions I receive. Please read the information below before emailing me, alice{at}goth-alice.co.uk

.What I will need to know.

A detailed description of what you want. Please try and be specific, 'a Goth girl' or 'a pretty fairy' is a very vague guideline.

Have you got any references to help portray what you want, although I cannot draw in any other style to my own, images are often helpful in describing what you would like. This includes poses, items to be included in the finished image & backgrounds.

If you would like me to create a portrait of you then I will need photos that are clear and of good quality, so I can see details. Having not met you I cannot improvise what I cannot see. If you have a specific photo you'd like me to recreate then that's all require. Again be specific about the details.

If you have a deadline in mind please allow one month for completion, 3 weeks at the very least, as creating artwork is a time consuming process.

.Please note that my artwork is drawn from scratch in Photoshop with a Wacom Pen Tablet. I use photos only for anatomy & facial refrence, my art is NOT photo manipulation.

.What happens next.

Once I have sketched up your design and you have approved it I will begin working on it. If you require updates then please state when I email the sketch. Updates will be watermarked, which will not appear on the final piece.

Next I will email a preview of the finished piece for your approval. Changes to the final piece are ok however if it requires a great deal of work then a small fee may be charged to the final price upon your consent.

I prefer to be paid via Paypal in GBP {£} & will only send completed artwork {via email in jpeg format} once payment is cleared. However if you require a different format or payment method please say so.

Once the artwork is in your possession then it is yours to do with what you want. I will however upload the art to my own personal portfolios stating that it was a commissioned piece, unless asked to be kept private by yourself . I never redistribute commissions in anyway. I also retain copyright unless otherwise agreed by both parties.

Offers:

Commissions of £45 and above have the option to receive the sketch of their piece for free.

Repeat commissioners will receive a discount on future orders over £30.

Terms

I work on a Kill Fee basis. This means having you cancel the project after it is started I will expect to be paid for the work completed up until the point of cancellation. (Calculated hourly rate)

Upon completion no excuses for non payment will be accepted. I have done the work, I expect to be paid for it. You'd be surprised how many time I've heard "I don't like/want it anymore" or "I'm broke" but still expect the artwork to be sent for free.

Agreeing to my terms by accepting the sketch is the start of a contract and it must be fulfilled.
